Brooklyn Davis, LCMHCA, LCAS
Brooklyn@innersourcetherapy.com I am so happy that you’re here and interested in taking the next steps towards your transformative journey. I’m Brooklyn, and I’m dedicated to being a guide as you navigate life’s challenges and empower you to use your strengths towards growth and healing. As someone that has faced adversities in life, I want to assure you that you have the power and strength to prosper and persevere. My dream of becoming a therapist started when I was still in middle school as I began to learn about the field of therapy. I’ve always loved helping others and being the supportive friend that others could feel safe with when expressing their feelings. That dream has led me to East Carolina University where I graduated in 2022 with my master’s degree in clinical counseling with an emphasis on addictions. I am currently licensed as a Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress, self-esteem concerns, and substance use disorders. My therapeutic approach to therapy varies as I tailor each modality to my client’s specific goals and values. However, the therapeutic approaches I typically incorporate include person-centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Gestalt Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, I often welcome and encourage feedback throughout our journey together to ensure that we are making progress towards your desired goals. I am here to foster a safe and non-judgement space where positive change and healing can take place. |
