Amber Thomas

Amber Thomas, MS, MFT Intern

I chose the counseling profession out of a deep belief that healthy families create healthy children and that meaningful change is possible through the therapeutic process. I am currently attending Regent University, where I am earning my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. I believe that every individual, couple, and family can benefit from counseling, as all challenges, when met with compassion, support, and appropriate intervention, can be worked through in a therapeutic setting. My therapeutic style is most closely aligned with person-centered counseling and the Bowenian approach, as both emphasize self-awareness, emotional growth, and relational patterns across generations. Through counseling, I hope to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to foster healthier relationships and stronger family systems.
