My name is Moonay Than, and I am a graduate student in the Advanced Standing Master of Social Work program at UNC Charlotte. As a social work intern at Inner Source Therapy, I am passionate about supporting adolescents, teens, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional stressors. My experiences working with medically fragile children, diverse families, and individuals facing complex stressors have shaped my understanding of how deeply life events can impact emotional and social well‐being. As someone who grew up navigating cultural, linguistic, and systemic barriers, I bring a compassionate, culturally responsive perspective to my work with clients. I am particularly interested in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment-related concerns. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. As I continue developing my clinical skills through education, supervision, and practice, I remain committed to meeting clients where they are and supporting them in working toward healing, resilience, and personal growth.
